First, this is a church. That means
that we are primarily concerned with how we should live, individually and collectively, so that we might become better people,
partners, parents and citizens. We seek, in many different ways, for values worth living by - or to put it in theological
language, for beliefs worth serving with our lives.
Cantheism, also Kantheism, is a modern term for religions based
on the inherent goodness of the Cannabis plant. Adherents are known as Cantheists. Cantheism neither endorses nor discriminates
against any other church, faith, or system of belief.
The
only religion known to worship the Cannabis genus of plants. People often mistake Rastafarianism for being the worship of
Marijuana however it is just a Christian sect. Cantheism however is the worship of the plant itself and has no other idols/gods.
Cantheist:
Somebody who worships the Cannabis plant religiously. When registering at a THC-ministry one gets an unlimited Marijuana
license because the first Amendment of the U.S. Constitution guarantees Religious freedom.
Cantheism may be the oldest of all religious practices, Cannabis being one of
the very first cultivated plants known to mankind. The roots of Cantheism can be traced to the origins of African, East Indian,
Sythian and Semetic Religion. Cannabis is also known to be one of the earliest plants used for industral and medical purposes,
as archeological evidance shows, appearing in Chinese, East Indian, Sythian, Egyptian and African cultures.
Free Life Ministry Church of Canthe would like to be one of those churches that
is looked back upon as a trend setter of our time. Just as the early churches that where persecuted for not following the
tenets of Rome. We are being persecuted today for believing that God created Cannabis to be used by man as a Holy Sacrament
as described throughout the Holy Bible.
We have yet to win
our religious rights in a clear victory thus far to practice our religion like the Christian sects that use Alcohol (even
to providing it to children), or the Native American Church that uses Peyote, or the O Centro Espirita Beneficente Uniao do
Vegetal and the Sainto Daime churches that use Ayahuasca.
Free Life Ministry Church of Canthe is a church
of like minded individuals who believe:
That God is our Father and that we are all, the entire human race, one spiritual family and that there are as many paths
to God as there are people to walk them.
That Cannabis
is a Holy Sacrament from times of antiquity, church members use Cannabis to commune with God.
This unifier of religious thought allows us to draw upon the broad scope of human religious experience in the determination
of the form our religious practice takes.
We draw upon many
religious texts, including the Holy Bible, and many others to establish and verify our religious practices.
Churches have common elements in differing attributes, such as but not limited
to; religious text, religious practices, religious symbols and religious rituals.
If you choose to be a member of our church you are very welcome to do so. Our God is no respecter of persons nor
are we.
We strongly and aggressively protect our members right
to grow and use Gods' Holy Healing plants of all varieties as described in the Bible.
We also protect their right to not use as they choose.
Cantheology: Philosophical Roots
Anyone may incorporate Cantheism into their current religious
persuasion, so long as they adhere to the Cantheist Creed.
Many of the world's great religions have used Cannabis sacramentally and ceremonially, including but
not limited to:

has the power to cross the line between the mental and the spiritual worlds. Popular in Africa and pre-Columbian America.
Biblical Judeo-Christian-Muslim religions, including Coptic Christianity and Rastafari: Genesis 1:29-31; Ezekiel
34:29; Isaiah 18:4-5; Rev. 22:1-2. Sacred spliff.
Egyptians: Smoke Eaters at the Temple at Thebes, incense, mortality
rituals.
Hinduism: Sadhu, ganja, chillum, spiritual and physical healing, smoking cloth. Includes the mystical
interpretation of Cannabis healing powers via Ayurvedic practices.

animism, the spirit of plants and nature, the breath of the gods.
Scythianism: Smoking huts, hemp labor, cannabis
purification rituals.
Shamanism: Use of all herbs in mystical pursuit of the infinite.
Sufi Muslims:
Use cannabis to reach an ecstatic state.
Zoroastrianism: Use cannabis to communicate with god on high for mystical
consciousness and personal enlightenment.
Cantheist Symbology
The graphic symbol
for Cantheism is modeled after the ancient Egyptian hieroglyph for hemp rope, which was transformed into the letter "h".

The hand symbol for
Cantheism is right hand cupped around the left, with two fingers extended in the inner hand, symbolizing the male and the
female plants. The overall hand gesture signifying the female calyx which holds the trichome glands.
Astronomy: The three
stars of Orion's belt represent the three aspects of cannabis: Commerce, medicine, and spirit. Sirius, the brightest star
in the nearby constellation Canis Major (Big Dog) symbolizes cannabis in the Northern winter sky.
